PINK FLOYD Wish You Were Here (50th Anniversary) (2025 UK/EU 2-CD Edition presenting the Original Album, Rarities 1 & Rarities 2 across two discs. Marking half a century of one of the most revered albums in Pink Floyd's catalogue, this 50th anniversary edition offers a fresh and compelling perspective on Wish You Were Here. Alongside the classic 1975 album, a second disc presents studio rarities, alternate versions, and previously unreleased demos that illuminate the creative process behind the band's eighth studio record. From the expansive architecture of Shine On You Crazy Diamond to the biting satire of Have a Cigar and the timeless title track, Wish You Were Here remains a cornerstone of progressive rock. Its reflections on absence, disconnection, and the pressures of the music industry are as affecting now as they were on release, underscored by the album's enduringly iconic artwork. This anniversary set provides the deepest exploration yet of the sessions, revealing formative outlines, instrumental sketches, and early ideas - material never before officially released.
