Avoid alcohol, smoking, caffeine, food, exercise, and hot showers for at least 30 minutes before measuring. Sit quietly and rest for at least 5 minutes before taking a reading. Slide the cuff onto your left upper arm, approximately 1–2cm above the elbow, with the tubing running down the inside of the arm. Check the cuff wrap guide indicator to confirm the cuff is correctly positioned. Rest
